Shamanic Journeys:
All shamanic traditions use shamanic journeys – they are considered the primary method used to access worlds where spiritual helpers and guidance are found. They are used for many purposes, mainly for healing. When the shamans or practitioners journey they always hold the intention of meeting spirits in what we call the parallel realities. In whatever form these spirits may appear to us – they are entities who offer us their wisdom, knowledge, guidance, healing and blessings.
When we journey, we reach an altered state of consciousness. A part of our consciousness leaves the physical body and travels to the spiritual realms, into the spiritual aspect of the reality. We need to shift our awareness in order to allow a part of our consciousness to leave the physical body. To achieve this we use deep relaxation, drums, rattles, flutes, certain rhythms etc.
Preparation is the most important part. We create a safe environment – a sacred space free of distractions. We provide quiet, turn off the phones and wifi. We clean the space. We may use shamanic smoke mixtures whose scents are close to the Earth aroma (forest mix). This provides a strong grounding effect. Together with shamanic drumming this allows us to have much deeper, intense journeys.
Higher self is »the best version of yourself«.
What is a HIGHER SELF:
Higher self, as Uchu likes to put it, is »the best version of yourself«. It is eternal, omnipotent, aware, intelligent being. When we are in full contact with our Higher self we are in contact with a divine source. Uchu says: »Once you are in contact with your Higher self, you will not need any more books, classes, courses or teachers. It is the source of all knowledge that ever was, is and will be.« Each and every individual has a Higher self. Your Higher self is the real you, your essence, your total soul consciousness. The »you« that is living here on Earth is just a projection of the consciousness of your Higher self. It knows your spiritual contracts, the plans you made before incarnating here and it holds your life plan in its hands. It is always a good idea to be able to speak to it.

WHO:
Nagual Uchu comes from Latin America. He learned and practiced shamanism mostly in Mexico, Peru and Brazil. In Argentina he was part of Carlos Castaneda’s circle and worked closely with Merilyn Tunneshende (the Nagual Woman from Don Juan’s circle). During his journey he lived with various Indian tribes such as Q’ero, Xingu, Shipibo, Kaxinawa Huni Kuin and he keeps regular contacts with some of the tribes, visiting them every year. He spent years travelling all around the world, living also among African and Siberian shamans, gaining rich experience in working with energies.
He combined and integrated ancient knowledge and techniques into Urban-Modern Shamanism which is applicable in 21st century in our everyday lives. In the last 2 decades Uchu has been teaching and coaching ancient shamanic techniques adapted to modern life all over the world. He is currently teaching in Europe.
