Munay-Ki Initiations of the Q’ero Indians for Transformation
The Munay-Ki are the Rites of the Q’ero nation, the descendents of the Inka, the indigenous people of the holy mountains of the Andes in Peru. The term Munay-Ki comes from a Quechua word that means »I love you as you are«.
Traditionally, one must spend many years in sacred study before and between receiving these Initiatory Rites. The nine initiations of the Munay-Ki have only been available until recently to the high wisdom keepers of the Americas. The Elders now believe that we are at a critical juncture in human history and that these Rites need to be transmitted to as many people as possible and therefore decided to pass them on to non-initiates from the West.
Nagual Uchu spent some time living with the Q’ero in his youth and received these rites from them. Later on Alberto Villoldo designed new version of Munay-Ki initiations, however, Uchu will keep his manner of doing it closer to the way in which he received them himself in Peru.
First 4 Rites:
Uchu will dedicate a weekend workshop to initiate the participants into first 4 rites. You will receive all the instructions for preparation, including a manual, prior to the workshop. The second part of the initiations will happen in December, one month after receiving first 4 rites.
Uchu will open sacred space to transmit this ancient knowledge and work with the participants individually. He will insert energetic seeds into your chakras and equip you with instructions how to make them grow. Munay-Ki is activated through fire, therefore we will make a fire ceremony at night(if weather conditions allow it) to honour new awakenings of our potentials and energies to come. We will have the honor of having two superb drummers drumming for us at the ceremony.
The first 4 rites are called Foundation Rites. They are:
- Healer’s Rite: connects you to a lineage of shamans and Earthkeepers from the past who come and assist you in your personal healing.
- Bands of Power Rite: it installs protections into your luminous energy field. These protections are known as the Bands of Power, and consist of five energetic bands representing earth, air, fire, water, and pure light.
- Harmony Rite: you receive seven different archetypes into each of your chakras. In the first chakra, you receive the archetype of serpent. Jaguar/puma goes into the second. Hummingbird into the third, and eagle/condor into the fourth. Then, three “archangels” go into your upper three chakras.
- Seer’s Rite: this rite installs filaments of light extending from your visual cortex in the back of your head to your third eye and heart chakras. This practice awakens your ability to perceive the invisible world. Many of the students find that after receiving the Seer rites, they’re able to perceive the world of energy and spirit around them with their physical eyes.
All participants will be given additional manual and instructions.

These Rites are given as the next step in the evolution of humanity; to realign and attune our neuropathways and shift our consciousness. To take these rites means you committ yourself to becoming an aware individual of wisdom and power.
Rites activate luminous energy field, clean it of your past traumas, raise your level of vibration, and allow luminous beings (guides) to come to you and guide you. Connect with them, and you’ll be able to recall stories that you never experienced directly, but that are now yours. Human luminous energy field envelopes the physical body and that organises the body in the same way that a magnet organises iron filings on top of a piece of glass. The luminous energy field is the software that informs the DNA which is our hardware. This helps us to create new bodies that age differently, heal differently and die differently. It sharpens our senses and grounds you.
The rites are common to all shamanic traditions, even though they are expressed in different forms and styles in various cultures.
Additional program: Mosaic and Drumming
In order to enhance your experience with ancient Munay-Ki Rites, we have prepared additional program for you.
While Uchu is doing his work individually with each one of you, the group will be offered to make a small micro mosaic (such as you can see in the photo) with mosaic artist Robert Lisac to honor and create a motive of your choice that symbolically represents what Munay-Ki will invoke in your life and what it means for you. We will prepare a selection of shamanic symbols for you.
Slovenia’s reknown drummers Andrej Hrvatin and Žiga Šercer will drum for us live at our nocturne fire ceremony and will offer a drumming workshop the following day.
We will honour the received rites with fire ceremony. The participants will also receive their own Pi stone to symbolize the received initiations and human energy field.
