WHO:

Nagual Uchu comes from Latin America. He learned and practiced shamanism mostly in Mexico, Peru and Brazil. In Argentina he was part of Carlos Castaneda’s circle and worked closely with Merilyn Tunneshende (the Nagual Woman from Don Juan’s circle). During his journey he lived with various Indian tribes such as Q’ero, Xingu, Shipibo, Kaxinawa Huni Kuin and he keeps regular contacts with some of the tribes, visiting them every year. He spent years travelling all around the world, living also among African and Siberian shamans, gaining rich experience in working with energies.

He combined and integrated ancient knowledge and techniques into Urban-Modern Shamanism which is applicable in 21st century in our everyday lives. In the last 2 decades Uchu has been teaching and coaching ancient shamanic techniques adapted to modern life all over the world. He is currently teaching in Europe.

PROGRAM:

In shamanism vision quest is one of the most profound, life-changing, ancient ceremonies. Traditionally it is practiced in nature, but nowadays we can perform it in the city with the same results.

We will dedicate this Saturday to your urban vision quests. Nagual Uchu will carefully guide you through the process and give you detailed instructions prior to it. A good plan and preparation for your process are very important. We will meet at our meeting place where Uchu will prepare you. After that you will embark on your own urban adventure in the beautiful city of Ljubljana (Slovenia)!

Uchu will show you how to set a threshold for your urban vision quest, how to create a “magic portal” through which you will symbolically depart your day-to-day routines (your programmed, robotic self) and enter sacred time and space. The whole reality is made of signs and it wants to talk to you all the time, but we are too busy worrying about our everyday lives, carrying out our everyday tasks. Now is your time to give it a chance, to let all your surroundings talk to you, to receive signs and guidance from your higher self and from your guides. Observing your journey through the city, you will notice that your inner dialogue slowly slows down. You start to ask yourself who you truly are and why are you here. Something bigger than your personality takes over and you will know where to go and what to ask.

You will embark on a shamanic journey in the city with your tools: a notebook, pencil, water etc. You will ask questions and receive answers. You will walk in the city following Uchu’s instructions, allowing your intuition to guide you, and you will take time to make short notes about what is happening. Keep in mind: during the vision quest you are in a magical reality and it is sending you answers and hints all the time. Be alert and aware!

After that we will meet again in our meeting place, share our experience and ceremonially close the journey.

Vision quest is a very powerful, transformative, revealing ceremony. Do not underestimate it and its impact on your life!

MY STORY (TADEJA):

For those of you who do not know me yet, I have been working with nagual Uchu as his associate for many years now and I have been on my urban vision quest, too. It was one of the most profound experience and it totally surprised me.

I started out in front of my old high school and as soon as I started walking, I felt pushed, pulled and guided. I just knew where to go. I entered an old town hall and it was hosting a mystical exhibition with the most amazing artefacts, statutes, sculptures, full of messages for me. It was like entering a rich fairy tale world with symbols close to me. Symbols that I can relate to.

I took some pictures. I loved it so much that I wanted to show it to my family. When my husband saw the photos later, he wanted to see the exhibition, too, so we returned with children the next day. The place was closed down and empty. If I hadn’t taken the photos, I almost would not have believed that it had happened. Looks like it was ment especially for me and only for me. : )

The workshop will happen in any kind of weather. You will receive detailed instructions as you apply.

Nagual Uchu does not follow a fixed program. He sees and reads the energy of the group and of the individuals and adapts the program according to the group’s best interest.
