He combined and integrated ancient knowledge, techniques and his experience into Urban-Modern Shamanism which is applicable in 21st century in our everyday lives. In the last 2 decades Uchu has been teaching and coaching ancient shamanic techniques adapted to modern life all over the world. He is currently teaching in Europe and regularly visits Indian tribes in Latin America.
REBEKAH:
Rebekah is a renown British shaman woman who has dedicated more than 20 years of her life to spreading wise messages of shamanism to the Western world. She was trained by and old shaman in a tiny village in the Amazon, she has been active in many different social circles, including corporate world, she wrote a book “The Shaman’s Last Apprentice” and as she beautifully puts it:
“When we surrender to the life force energy of the planet we can begin to determine what is going to happen before it does, experience mind-blowing synchronicity, experience deep nourishing, loving connections with others, always end up in the right place at the right time and life becomes a magical experience.”
VIDEOS:
Rebekah talks about shamanism:
A video worth seeing – what is shamanism, what the training in the Amazon was like, why to be active in our so called Western world, why to live from the heart and more.

Rebekah is the author of the book “ The Shaman’s Last Apprentice”:
“‘This self-published book is the true story about how I became the Shaman’s Last Apprentice. It takes the reader from the Andes Mountains of Machu Picchu, where I was working in a hotel, to the Amazon rainforest where I found Don Juanito, an old traditional and local Ayahuasquero Shaman nestled in a tiny village deep in the heart of the Amazon.« Rebekah tells us about a warning from the shamans to the West that we urgently need to change our relationship with each other, and with mother Earth.

We will dedicate the weekend to deep inner work and shamanic ceremonies with two powerful shamans.
Sacred Cacao Ceremony (Rebekah): An indigenous Mayan legend tells us whenever the balance between humans and nature becomes threatened, cacao comes from the rainforest to open people’s hearts and return the planet to a state of harmony. Ceremonial cacao is then the Food for the Shift.
Ceremonial cacao was traditionally used by the Ancient Mayan Shamans to travel between the worlds, to travel beyond the veil. For them the Cacao Spirit was one of the most powerful deities. Ceremonial cacao leads you to the door to the heart, to the spiritual dimension, but it does not push you through like other plants. Ceremonial cacao gently invites you on a journey, to travel with the chocolate spirit through the veil if you choose to.
With over 1200 chemical constituents, the beans from Theobroma Cacao (translating from the greek: theo – meaning god and broma – meaning food), appear to be the most pharmacologically complex food in nature. Certain active ingredients help release ‘feel good’ emotions, therefore cacao is considered a heart opener that paves the way to transformation through self-love.
Through cacao you access the subconscious to reveal and heal the deepest aspects of yourself, to start moving towards the fullest expression of who you truly are. It helps you to remove barriers in all areas of your life: relationships, career, personal growth, creativity, or wherever your focus is. Ultimately, cacao deepens your connection to your heart, and expands your capacity to love and be loved.
Sacred Peruvian Ayni Despacho Ceremony (Uchu): For hundreds of years high shamans from the Q’ero lineage of Peru have used the ayni despacho ceremonies for any major life transition. When we work in despacho ceremony, we work at the level of the soul. Despacho is similar to a mandala. We will all create this mandala together. Despacho holds symbolic elements and the prayers of the participants. As the shaman adds the elements to the despacho, the vibration of the participants and the space raises. The despacho becomes a living prayer that brings transformation and healing.
After the despacho is prepared, the shaman uses it to cleanse the energy body of each participant. To close the ceremony, despacho is placed into ceremonial fire (fire ceremony).
Shamanic healing technique (Uchu): Uchu will also introduce you into basic principles of shamanic healing. He will teach the participant the ancient healing technique called “The Arrow Head”.
Fire Ceremony (Uchu): Throughout human history the element of fire has always had special meaning for people of our planet. The fire represents the Sun, in Andean culture the »father Sun« is known as Taita Inti. He is the male balance to the female energies of the universe, and he represents the ability to create life, to create the new, to transform the old that no longer serves us.
Together we will gather around a big fire in nature. Fire allows for rapid transformation. We can let go of our old stories, lessons and dramas that do not serve us anymore and give them to the Fire – to the Great Spirit. It will transform them and offer healing, renewal and symbolic rebirth.
Women’s Womb Awakening (Rebekah): We come together and sit in ceremony with our sisters to heal the collective shadow, releasing fears and doubts that have kept us small, and reclaim our power so we can shine bright, beautiful and proud.
Connecting our hearts and wombs we will be clearing stale energetic blockages, healing ancient wounds, and working on ancestral ties to the mother and beyond. These women only journey creates a safe, nurturing space to go as deep as you allow yourself to.
Male Shamanic Work (Uchu): While Rebekah works with women, Uchu has prepared a shamanic circle for men.
The workshop is translated from English to Slovene.
