Dear women,
our encounters have brought us many insights, joys and wonderful heartfelt journeys with the goddess Ixcacao (the spirit of the cacao plant). We shared laughter, tears, stories and friendship. With heartfelt joy, I announce SUMMER WOMEN’S CACAO CEREMONY.
In the year 2019 we will have four women’s circles with cacao ceremonies, related to four seasons. Each season we will journey to one of our four main survival archetypes:
– Spring women’s cacao circle (inner child): March 30, 2019, Ljubljana
– Summer women’s cacao circle (victim): June 29, 2019, Ljubljana
– Autumn women’s cacao circle (saboteur): October 5, 2019, Ljubljana
– Winter women’s cacao circle (prostitute): details will be released soon (December 2019)
Each circle is an independent event. At each circle we will journey with cacao master plant teacher – each meeting will be dedicated to one of our four main personal survival archetypes. Please book your place for each event independently. There is no obligation to attend all four women’s circles. There number of places is limited as I want to devote my attention to each participant and monitor the process of each one during the shamanic journey with cacao plant teacher.
Women’s Circle
The purpose of the women’s circle is to create a safe, sacred space in which you can hear yourself, your true inner motives and desires. Through the journey with cacao and sound you will experience loving, friendly support and receive spiritual guidance. You can also set a specific intent for the ceremony.
Cacao Plant Medicine
This is the day for feeling nature’s rhythms, the incoming summer heat and joy and a heart opening cacao ceremony with the support of the sound bath and dances. Cacao is a loving, gentle plant teacher who can take us to the immense depths of ourselves. In shamanism it is known as “The Heart Opener” and “Consciousness Awakener”. Cacao is one of the so called master plant teachers in shamanism – they are plants who are assisting in conscious evolution of humans. During the ceremony I (Tadeja) provide a sacred space for her to work with you and for you to do your work with her – the process goes both ways. You do your shamanic journeys and experience her wisdom, while I hold sacred space and keep an eye on you.
Psyche And Archetypes
Imagine human psyche as a wonderful, colourful microcosmos, where the principle “As above so below” applies. You hold a whole universe inside you. Cacao journeys unveil a new piece of your inner territory every time, so that gradually you can draw a map of yourself. We are aware of a very small part – the conscious part represents only about 10% of the human psyche. The most rewarding journeys are those through which we come to know our depths and our beautifully complex nature that this society, in which we live, has repressed so much. “Know yourself and you will know the whole creation!” was taught in practically every ancient school of mysteries and wisdom.
We will dedicate summer women’s cacao circle to the archetype of our inner victim, which is one of our four basic archetypes of survival and greatly influences our thoughts, actions and decisions. Archetypes are energetic forces that work within us. Through knowledge and awareness of them you can become the best version of yourself and building the life you’ve always wanted to live suddenly becomes so much easier. Summer And Moon In Taurus
Summer represents enthusiasm, heat, passion and liberation. On the day of our ceremony, the moon will be in the zodiac sign of Taurus. The moon feels very well in this sign (it is in its exaltation, at the peak of power), which means also our best qualities are easily expressed. (More below)
Sound and circle dances
During the ceremony, we will also enjoy the healing power of the sound – a sound bath with Himalayan and crystal bowls.
We will take a few minutes to harmonize the group with dancing. Albinca will intuitively choose the right dances for the group.

Tadeja Škorja: I am passionate about everything that helps me know myself and the world around me better. The more I learn, the more I am aware those two are not two separate things. Many of you know me as Nagual Uchu’s “right hand”. Uchu is a shaman from Latin America. Seven years of working and travelling with him have given me many things and experience for which I am deeply grateful.
Uchu introduced me to cacao. We held ceremonies together. Later on I met a shaman from the United Kingdom, Rebekah Shaman, who is one of the most known cacao shamans in Europe. I had the honour of training with her in one of her wonderful “Cacaoista retreats” where we worked with the plant deeply and intensely in a circle of women. It was a profound, life-changing experience. The connection I made with the plant captured my heart. The spirit of the plant, goddess Ixcacao, surprised me with her depths, wisdom and nurturing nature. She touched my heart like a true “Heart Opener” (the plant’s nickname in shamanic circles). I felt how important it is for women to offer safe spaces and gatherings to each other, where they can relax and just be who they truly are.

Ph.D. Albinca Pesek: Albinca is a musician, music teacher, professor, author of primary school textbooks for music, skilled sound and dance therapist, and above all my dear friend. She devoted her life to her love of music which is felt all her work. She will pamper us with a sound bath to prepare us for the ceremony.
PROGRAM
Summer And Moon In Taurus
Summer represents enthusiasm, heat, passion and liberation. We feel young, the Sun is at the height of its power, we do not need to wrap up and hide inside. Summer nights are warm and inviting. This is the time of activity, joy and expression.
The moon feels good in Taurus (it is at the peak of its power), which means also our best qualities can be expressed easily. Taurus is an Earth sign. It is good-natured, female energy, receptivity, intuition, enjoyment in the small joys of life. The emotions are going to be intense, the bull will show you where you got stuck in your comfort zone and how to direct your focus (ground your efforts). The bull is prone to excessive enjoyment, it is a fixed sign that strives for stability, it may appear passive sometimes. However, when it decides and focuses on its goal, it is unstoppable. The Moon will help you identify where you got stuck and how to move on.
This is not the best day for persuading others. Taurus moon can bring stubbornness and rebellion out. Use this moon for healing in nature or with natural things, for more romance and warmth in relationships with your loved ones and for good food, such as cacao.
Cacao Ceremony
An indigenous Mayan legend tells us whenever the balance between humans and nature becomes threatened, (ceremonial) cacao comes from the rainforest to open people’s hearts and return the planet to a state of harmony.
Ceremonial cacao was traditionally used by the Ancient Mayan Shamans to travel between the worlds. For them the Cacao Spirit was one of the most powerful deities. We will drink organic, raw, ceremonial grade cacao from the Ashaninka tribes of Peru. Ceremonial cacao leads you to the door to the heart, to the spiritual dimension, but it does not push you through like other plants. Ceremonial cacao gently invites you on a journey, to travel with the chocolate spirit through the veil if you choose to.
With over 1200 chemical constituents, the beans from Theobroma Cacao (translating from the greek: theo – meaning god and broma – meaning food), appear to be the most pharmacologically complex food in nature. Certain active ingredients help release ‘feel good’ emotions, therefore cacao is considered a heart opener that paves the way to transformation through self-love. It triggers release of dopamine, the ‘pleasure’ hormone. Through cacao you access the subconscious to reveal and heal the deepest aspects of yourself. It helps you to remove blockages in all areas of your life: relationships, career, personal growth, creativity, or wherever your focus is. Ultimately, cacao expands your capacity to love and be loved.
You may prepare questions or intent for your ceremony. Ixcacao may not take you where you expect her to take you. But you can be sure she will take you where you need to go. Allow yourself to be surprised!
Human Psyche and Archetypes
Archetypes are the forces that work in our psyche. Although we are all submerged (up to a certain degree) into the collective unconscious, each and every one of us has a unique personal archetypal map. By knowing and understanding your archetypes you can activate your best potentials and radically change your life in the desired direction.
Everybody has four basic archetypes of survival (symbols representing a certain type of energy). For the purpose of my work I will use the expressions of Caroline Myss, the author whom I respect deeply. Her works helped me a lot to steer my life into the desired direction. These archetypes live and work in each of us:
- Inner child (spring women’s circle)
- Victim (summer women’s circle)
- Saboteur (autumn women’s circle)
- Prostitute (winter women’s circle): Let me mention that the archetype of a prostitute rarely applies to literal physical prostitution. This archetype is active in all areas of our lives, whenever we bargain in the sense “I give you this in return for that”.
Victim inside us
The victim archetype is very strong in our society. Like any archetype, the victim also brings valuable lessons and has a negative and a positive side. Unfortunately, people are often unaware of the positive teachings and get immersed into negativity (“Poor me, I blame everybody and everything else for my situation” and similar programs).
The victim is the GUARDIAN OF SELF-ESTEEM. It gets triggered when we do not get what we want. The main question (issue) this archetype brings is:
– Is it worthwhile to give up your sense of power in order to avoid taking responsibility for yourself? Her positive pole shows us when we keep falling into harmful programs of helplessness, and its goal is to develop self-esteem and personal strength.
– In a guided shamanic journey, we will openly discuss with our inner victim with the support of the plant teacher.
Sound Bath And Circle Dances
The sound of Himalayan and crystal bowls will prepare us for the ceremony and enable us to understand and integrate its messages better. During the sound bath with Albinca you will harmonize your energies, your mind, body and spirit.
Through a short, meditative dance we will tune in as a group and energize ourselves. Movement is extremely simple and easy, therefore no dance knowledge is required. Albinca will intuitively choose the right dances for the group.
Closing
We will close the ceremony with a talk, integration of experiences and socializing.
Journeying with cacao may trigger deep emotional processes, so try to spend the rest of the evening calmly, quietly and without stress.
A Note!
Cacao is safe to ingest, however there are certain medical conditions where we need to adjust the dose. If you have heart conditions, take antidepressants or are pregnant, please let us know. If you have epilepsy, unfortunately we cannot invite you to cacao ceremony for your own safety. More details will be provided when you apply.
