Shamanic Retreat With Nagual Uchu – Star Maiden Circle and Fire Ceremony, May 2018

Spring is here and we have prepared a special shamanic weekend retreat in nature for you. Intense program, medicine wheel teachings, working with your shadow, fire ceremony and deep transformative inner work. We will spend two days in a peaceful estate which is located in beautiful Slovene region of Prekmurje.

Nagual Uchu will dedicate this retreat to working with Star Maiden Circle – learn how to work with the circle of coyotes (light) and with the circle of foxes (shadow).

From the ancient times the wise ones have used magical techniques to influence their reality, to change the state of consciousness and awareness, to overcome the barriers of seemingly separate consciousness and to bring the desired changes into their lives. They have left us a precious map: a medicine wheel. A part of it belongs to the star maiden: “Star Maiden Circle” with the circle of coyotes and the circle of foxes. It is a map of the powers that work in the cosmos and on earth, it is a map of complex, wonderful human psyche. As above so below. In the evening we will have a fire ceremony with live drumming to integrate inner processes. Come and learn more!

WHO:

Nagual Uchu comes from Latin America. He learned and practiced shamanism mostly in Mexico, Peru and Brazil. He was also active in Argentina, where he was a part of Carlos Castaneda’s circle and he worked closely with Merilyn Tunneshende (the Nagual Woman from Don Juan’s circle).They offered him to train his own group of shamanic practitioners, however he decided to spend 15 years travelling all around the world, living in India, among African and Siberian shamans, gaining rich experience in working with energies.
He combined and integrated ancient knowledge, techniques and his experience into Urban-Modern Shamanism which is applicable in 21st century in our everyday lives. In the last 2 decades Uchu has been teaching and coaching ancient shamanic techniques adapted to modern life all over the world. He is currently teaching in Europe and regularly visits Indian tribes in Latin America.
PROGRAM:

Life is an inner experience. It is constantly influenced by our belief systems and mind programmes. When we are completely immersed into the collective consciousness, our robotic self will run the show with its implanted programmes. To rise above it, to gain the eagle’s perspective and take hold of our lives, we need to break our robotic self and expand our awareness. Ancient wise traditions have left us tools for that. One of them is the medicine wheel.

The medicine wheel is the map of the powers that work in the cosmos and on earth. It is a map of a complex human psyche. The Star Maiden Circle is a map that guides us through a journey from darkness to light. Uchu will teach you the shamanic way of working with the Star Maiden Circle. Star Maiden Circle comprises both: the shadow part of ourselves (the Circle of the Foxes) and the light part of ourselves (the Circle of Coyotes).

We all know that walking the territory is not the same as knowing the map. However, when we are on a journey, it is very helpful to have a map. Without the map we often feel lost. With the map the journey becomes much clearer.

Uchu will teach you how to use the Star Maiden Circle on your journey inwards. You will be given practical exercises. We will use the beautiful surrounding nature’s support to dive deep into ourselves and face our inner darkness. In the evening, fire ceremony will assist us in the process.

Fire Ceremony: Throughout human history the element of fire has always had special meaning for people of our planet. The fire represents the Sun, in Andean culture the »father Sun« is known as Taita Inti. He is the male balance to the female energies of the universe, and he represents the ability to create life, to create the new, to transform the old that no longer serves us.

Together we will gather around a big fire in nature. Fire allows for rapid transformation. We can let go of our old stories, lessons and dramas that do not serve us anymore and give them to the Fire – to the Great Spirit. It will transform them and offer healing, renewal and symbolic rebirth. Live drumming will assist the process. You are welcome to bring your own drums if you feel like joining in.

NOTE: Nagual Uchu does not follow a fixed program. He sees and reads the energy of the group and of the individuals and adapts the program according to the group’s best interest.

We will be staying in beautiful, new rooms for 2 to 4 people. Each room has its own bathroom. Additional to that we offer a common room for up to 10 people to stay in. The common room has 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms, you need to bring your own mats and sleeping bags.
