We invite you to spend one week learning and practicing shamanism and urban shamanism with nagual Uchu from Southern America. The seminar will take place at the seaside in a beautiful, immaculate Croatian island. Urban shamanism teaches us ancient wisdom and techniques adapted to modern way of life.
In days long past people lived a relatively isolated life in small towns and villages. Shamans had 2 or 3 apprentices and it was enough to fill community’s needs. Today, however, we need thousands of urban shamans to help maintain a harmonious, healthy existence. Do not hesitate to join us!
This year’s workshop will be dedicated mostly to practical work in nature, to communication with the spirits of nature and work with elements: fire, earth, air and water. Pure environment of Luka bay is very supportive.
Shamanism is the oldest spiritual heritage known to mankind. It is being practiced all over the world. It teaches us that everything is connected, alive and has a spirit. We are part of Mother Nature, not standing over and above it. We are all connected in the great web of life physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Shamanism is ideal for scepitcs. It will never ask you to blindly believe anything. On the contrary, it is based on one’s own experience and exploration. No need for dogmas and intermediaries. Shamanism is not a religion and it is not a philosophy. It is personal, spiritual process based on direct connection to Great Spirit.

Lodging is provided in private houses mainly – located at the end of a bay to offer us peace and privacy. Meals will be provided by Hotel Luka. Bear in mind it is an old hotel and in Dugi otok life runs with a slow pace, therefore do not expect luxury and 5 star hotels.

Who?
Nagual Uchu learned and practiced shamanism mostly in Mexico, Peru and Brazil where he lived with the Indians. He was once part of Carlos Castaneda’s circle and worked closely with Merilyn Tunneshende (the Nagual Woman from Don Juan’s circle). He spent years travelling all around the world, living in India and among African shamans, gaining rich experience in working with energies.
He combined and integrated ancient knowledge and techniques into Urban-Modern Shamanism which is applicable in 21st century in our everyday lives. In the last 2 decades Uchu has been teaching and coaching ancient shamanic techniques adapted to modern life all over the world. He is currently active in Europe.
What?
Uchu will lead the participants in a series of experiential exercises:
– How to connect to Earth and ourselves better. How to work with forces and elements of nature: earth, water, wind, trees, fire, mountains, sea, stones, plants… Uchu will share ancient shamanic techniques and tools for communication with spirits of nature with us.

Price includes a 6 day shamanic workshop (3 to 4 hours per day), accommodation in rooms (private houses or hotel) and full board (3 meals per day).

Transportation:
You have a possibility of organized bus or van transportation from various towns in Slovenia for payment of 60€ in both directions. For last year’s participants of Uchu’s workshop in Dugi otok the price is 50€.
